A compound pharmacy is one that mixes medications based on a single prescription as opposed to a mass-produced medication that is delivered to the retail pharmacy. Compound medications are used for people who have unique prescriptions, are prescribed a medication off-label, or for people who need liquid forms of medication because they have trouble swallowing pills. Helpful tips:
I recommend daily weigh-ins to help create mindfulness and allow you to make quick corrections to your diet and exercise. A digital bathroom scale that measures body fat and muscle mass will help you see the trends in your body composition.
I recommend using a weight loss app such as Noom, Lose It! or MyFitnessPal for the same reason we weigh daily. Click on the link to get a free trial and get 20% off a subscription to Noom. Read my blog post about how to achieve a healthy, sustainable calorie deficit.
For injections, you’ll need to purchase insulin syringes and alcohol wipes. Insulin syringes are available without a prescription at your local store.
